I am thrilled to announce the publication of the third and final article in my Azure Arc series in the German “windows .developer” magazine’s September 2022 issue. The article, titled “Azure Services outside of Azure”, concludes our exploration of Azure Arc’s capabilities.

With the help of Azure Arc, it is now possible for the first time to operate Azure services such as Azure App Service or Azure SQL Managed Instance outside of Azure. This allows administrators and developers to use familiar Azure services and their features while still leveraging the existing on-premises infrastructure.
Mit der Hilfe von Azure Arc ist es erstmalig möglich, Azure-Dienste wie Azure App Service oder Azure SQL Managed Instance außerhalb von Azure zu betreiben. Das erlaubt Administrator:innen und Entwickler:innen, bekannte Azure-Dienste und deren Features einzusetzen und gleichzeitig die bestehende On-Premises-Infrastruktur zu verwenden.
